Dr. Alice van der Pas (1934-2017) werkte dertig jaar als ouderbegeleider en gezinstherapeut in de AGGZ voor jeugdigen, waarvan 3 jaar in de Verenigde Staten. Vanaf 1992 was zij fulltime auteur en redacteur.

In 2003 promoveerde zij op een studie van de wetenschappelijke literatuur over ouderschap: A serious case of neglect: the parental experience of child rearing.

Alice van der Pas, Lid van Verdienste van de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Relatie- en Gezinstherapie en Ridder in de Orde van Oranje Nassau is 83 jaar geworden.
